One of the oldest cocktail debates is whether vodka, or gin, tastes better in a martini.  So to confuse things a little we’ve taken some inspiration from the vesper martini and put both in our Troo Martini! To the vodka and gin we also add lillet blanc, one further vermouth and some yellow chartreuse. 29% alc./vol.

 

Prepare

Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice, pour in 100ml of your Troo Martini and shake vigorously for 25 seconds.

 

Pour

Pour through a cocktail strainer and into a coupe glass.

 

Enjoy

As an aperitif.  Or at a James Bond themed night!

 

Note

To maintain the icy cold temperature always keep a couple of coupe glasses in the freezer or alternatively place some ice in the glass a few minutes before preparing and then pour this away prior to serving.
